I started using drugs when I was 13 years old and couldn't stop for the next 23 years. I started getting arrested at age 14. I started my journey with jail at age 18. I was in and out of jail about 80 times in a 20-year time span. I was in and out of 7 different rehabs. I hated what I had become and I couldn't stop the destructive lifestyle no matter how hard I tried.
This all changed in 2011 when I came to the Hope Center for Women and developed a relationship with Jesus. He began to love me back together again. Today, I am a part of Scott & Sue Cline's Jail Ministry. I am now beginning to go to the Hope Center to teach an Identity class to the girls. My life is completely different thanks to God and the Hope Center for Women.
"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
(2 Corinthians 5:17)
