Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Thank God that although He asks us to do our part, He is not limited to our effort, and, His power is not limited to our resources. There is nothing we could ever do to qualify ourselves for His love but the Lord has gone before us and done all the work so that we don't have to. Though we may not see or hear Him, He is always working things out for our good.
Romans 8:28 - "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
His methods may change, but His love and care do not.
We need to push aside all expectations of what WE think things should look like, be like, and feel like, and stop comparing ourselves with others and just be open to HIS will for our lives. He knows what we need before we do and has every intention on fulfilling His promises to us. That's all we need to know.
He is a Man of His Word and He has already paid the ultimate price for us.
Our Creator brought Himself down to our level to save us because it is impossible for us to go up to His level to save ourselves and be worthy of His grace and mercy. So how could we ever doubt Him?
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Oh how He loves us!
In Isaiah 57:14-19, the Lord speaks to those filled with guilt and shame, those who sincerely regret things they have said or done. Words of compassion for His imperfect people to uplift and remind them that they are loved no matter what and to assure that He is with us through it all.
Comfort for the Contrite
And it will be said: “Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.” For this is what the high and exalted One says—he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. I will not accuse them forever, nor will I always be angry, for then they would faint away because of me—the very people I have created. I was enraged by their sinful greed; I punished them, and hid my face in anger, yet they kept on in their willful ways. I have seen their ways, but I will heal them; I will guide them and restore comfort to Israel’s mourners, creating praise on their lips. Peace, peace, to those far and near,” says the Lord. “And I will heal them.”
There is nothing in this world that could separate us from His love.
No matter how bad we mess up or how far we stray or how much time goes by since we have worshiped God, He is able to restore and rebuild our lives. He waits patiently to restore our relationship to Him. No one is so far away from God that he or she cannot be restored. Repentance is all that is required.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

Leaning has the sense of putting your whole weight on something, resting on, and trusting in that person or thing. When we have an important decision to make, we sometimes feel that we can't trust anyone. But God knows what is best for us.
He is a better judge of what we want than we are.
Psalm 145 says, "The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does."
We must trust Him completely in every choice we make. We must not be wise in our own eyes and always be willing to listen to and be corrected by God's Word for He corrects those He loves. Bring your decisions to God in prayer; use the Bible as your guide; and then follow God's leading.
Thank You God for Your perfect love that covers all our sins. You want what's best for us always. I am forever grateful. Amen.
How He loves us so!
